Hill-Rom develops and manufactures new hospital beds customized for patients' needs. In order to maintain strong price levels while meeting financial and market share objectives and to deliver profitable sales growth, we are looking for an European Pricing Manager. In this new position you will maintain product knowledge, regularly monitor and communicate industry pricing practices for major competitors and distributors in order to maintain pricing competitiveness. Travelling will be involved and standard location can be several European countries.

Collect, analyze and evaluate data on products, costs, and markets to support development and presentation of appropriate pricing strategiesAssist sales leadership to maintain strong price levels while meeting company wide financial and market share objectives and to deliver profitable sales growth through pricing management strategies and tacticsDevelop models and pricing tools to improve pricing decisions made at local levelsManage pricing processes to ensure compliance with company policies and Sarbanes Oxley regulationsManage non-standard pricing process and approvals Act as an important link to the field sales organization with regard to questions pertaining to Pricing, Product, Programs and Company objectivesMaintain product knowledge and regularly monitor and communicate industry pricing practices in a timely manner; particularly for major competitors and distributors in order to make appropriate decisions to maintain pricing competitivenessParticipate in periodic price reviews with Division and local management to review local and competitor pricing trendsAdvise and train sales associates on product pricing practices and proper use of internal pricing toolsSupport revisions to price books for sales force and channel partners, working with multiple groups including Marketing and Operations
Gezocht profiel
University graduate and around 3-5 years of pricing experienceCapable of managing priorities of supporting Sales with special pricing for customers, while maintaining requirements for standard pricingInternational experience, preferably as part of a U.S. companyStrong analytical skills and understanding of basic accounting principlesAble to work with the different worlds and personalities of Sales, Marketing, Finance and other groups involved in pricingSelfstarter, result driven and capable of cope with deadlines Excellent communication and presentation skillsHigh level of comfort with financial systems
