Job DescriptionManage base salary and wage programs; conduct studies of compensation practices and market rates, analyze internal and external pay equities, make recommendations for specific changes and/or general adjustmentsassure compliance and market competitiveness of all benefits programsdesign programs and develop approaches to providing the most effective market competitive benefits programsassure effective design and utilization of the human resources management systemeffectively manage the activities of the direct reporting staff assuring appropriate contribution and developmentmanage the development and implementation of merit and promotion increase programs linked to performance, and develop and monitor annual salary increase budgetsmanagement and implementation of long term (primarily equity) incentive programs within corporate guidelinesmanagement and implementation of short term incentive programs such as the Annual Incentive Bonus (AIB) program, recruiting bonuses, and other group specific bonus programswork with senior management and Human Resources as required to facilitate the development of job descriptions and the classification of all levels of positions in the organizationprovide technical oversight of commissions, sales bonuses, and international compensation for the Companyassures through audits, reports and personal contact that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulationsprovide leadership to departmental efforts in establishing appropriate levels of total compensation for all levels of employeeskeep apprised of all relevant local laws and regulations in order to ensure company complianceparticipate in and manage appropriate third party salary surveys to ensure appropriate assessment of the relevant salary market to assure compensation objectives are achievedparticipate in any and all reasonable work activities as may be deemed suitable and assigned by managementconform to, support and enforce all Company policies and procedures.
Job RequirementsSix years progressively responsible experience in all components of Compensation and Benefits bachelor degree in Business, Human Resources, or related fieldsecond or graduate degree preferredstrong mathematical aptitude and analysis skillsthorough knowledge of tax, accounting, laws, and practices in regards to compensation and benefits programsstrong knowledge of applicable human resources, compensation and benefits software applications/products; experience with personal computer applicationsstrong project management skillsdemonstrated ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary effortscapable of dealing effectively with all employees and external business contacts while conveying a positive, service oriented attitudeability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing (strong English language proficiency required)persuasive presentation skills towards Executivesmaintaining complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships and exercise sound business judgmentcapability to understand the company's strategies and financial targetscapable of communicating clearly and concisely, both in written & verbal formats, within a multi-cultural environment (English)good interpersonal skills, as well as ability to build productive relationships and foster collaborationexcellent presentation skills and proven experience in persuading and convincing large teamsaction-oriented, dedicated and enthusiasticcapable of working accurately under pressureability to work as part of a team, as well as independentlydealing effectively in all business relationships, while projecting a positive image of the companyhigh level of integrity and discretion in treatment of sensitive information
