Job DescriptionWe are looking for candidates who are interested in starting or expanding international career in Finance. Perfetti Van Melle will offer the right candidate an appealing Dutch Expat-contract to start his or her career at their office in Tarczyn, Poland, in the position of Finance Manager. The Polish Sales and Marketing company works with brands such as Mentos, Fruittella and Chupa Chups, employs approx. 200 people and generates an annual turnover of around ? 50 million. The Finance Manager is a member of the Management Team reporting to the General Manager of PVM Poland. The role has a functional line to the Financial Director of the BU North Western Europe. It requires full participation in the process of achieving the business goals of the operations in Poland and is a fundamental part of the MT running the business. The Finance Manager will have to develop a strong, constructive working relationship with the General Manager and be the GM's 'right hand'. He or she must develop a full understanding of the Company's operations, including a clear understanding of the customer's expectations of the operation.The Manager Logistics reports to the Finance Manager. He or she must develop thorough knowledge of the Company's supply chain in the Polish setting. At the same time the Finance Manager is expected to challenge (through the heads of departments and the GM) all areas related to cost, working capital and the effectiveness of running the company's operations. In addition, he or she has to work as a link between the Company and the Group. The Finance Manager is also responsible for the motivation and development of staff (6 direct reports and 5 indirect) in order to maximize both individual and team effectiveness towards achievement of the Company's and the Group's business goals.
