Job DescriptionAs Manager Raw Materials you will be responsible for:Set a purchasing policy and accompanying procedures and guidelines, in line with regional and/or global guidelines, and subsequently create commitment, mobilize recourses, and functionally manage purchasingGive input to three year company plan in line with the developed global purchasing strategyDefine an operational purchasing plan Develop and implement sourcing strategies and action plans Validate suppliers, negotiate contracts and or SLA's and manage these with suppliersMaintain and expand contact with international parties and relationships with suppliersDevelop, innovate, maintain and control adequate processes and systems for sourcing, contracting, ordering, contract compliance and vendor managementProvide insight in quantitative and qualitative performance regarding the own dedicated area, including market developmentLead projects that impact the own purchasing area, including market developments Lead the department and manage the team (category manager and buyers) including recruitment performance management and development
Job RequirementsGraduate level, masters education would be an advantage Substantial and senior lever purchasing experience Experience in (complex) procurement management of raw materials, preferably in Agri/Food Willing to travel international Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writingOrganizational sensitivity combined with strategic skillsAnalytical person who knows how to motivate othersEntrepreneurship and persuasivenessFlexibility and adaptability
